A Mom Begged A Republican For Medicine For Her Sick Daughter. His Response Is DISGUSTING

A Republican state representative showed his true colors recently when he callously insulted one of his constituents looking for help to pay for her daughter’s desperately needed diabetes medicine. Distressed mother Nicole Nichols sent a letter to her Mississippi representatives pleading for help to pay for the medicine her eight-year-old daughter needs to combat her type 1 diabetes. State Rep. Jeffrey Guice (R-Ocean Springs) had the nerve to laugh in her face and reply with “I am sorry for your problem. Have you thought about buying the supplies with money that you earn?”

<sarcasm>. I don’t usually post such things.. but not being able to afford your kid’s (or your own) medicine is not the government’s or anyone else’s problem. I say we privatize ALL government services; including primary education, police, fire and rescue. Can’t afford it? Tough.. the people who contribute to society should have first dibs. Let the law of supply and demand, laissez faire capitalism and survival of the fittest do its work. </endsarcasm>
