Helping the Helpless

cropped-jhigg123.jpgI am a strong believer in pyscho cybernetics, positive energy, bountiful universe, the power of love, law of attraction etc.  As a business person I try very hard to apply these principles to my business as well as personally.    The problem I always have had is trying to help someone who does not want to be helped.  People have to be made to live with their  own decisions and answer to themselves.  As a real estate investor specifically, I struggled for a long time with having to throw people out of their homes, increase rent when my expenses went up and deal with the myriad of problems that arise  when  several families live under one roof.   I often felt like a social worker instead of a businessman.

I finnally learned that I  can never override what someone else is giving to the law of attraction but I had to do what is best for my companies and partners… and more importantly myself. I’m not saying you need to be a selfish person, but simply you need to help yourself and make YOU happy before you can even remotely help someone else. Everyone must face their own consequences. My father always told me you can’t save the world and you certainly can not. But you can however help others through your thoughts, and they can help you. Every good thought you send to another is a living force.

However, the person you are sending the thought to has to be asking for the same thing you are sending. If the person does not want it, then they are not in harmony with your thought frequency, and it will not penetrate them.

You cannot create in another’s life against their will, but if it is something they want, your thoughts are a real force that helps them. Everyone is responsible for their own lives and happiness and sometimes “tough love” helps them get on the frequency they need to be on to change their destiny.

I am all for helping people that want to be helped.. Unfortunately some people will drain every ounce of your life force leaving nothing for you. Take care of yourself first, make sure YOU are happen, before you can even begin to work on someone else’s happiness.
