Times have really changed

As I sit waiting on my sister at the dentist’s office I’m reminded of how quickly things have changed. The doctor’s office is littered with the customary magazines we all have grown accustomed to seeing. I can’t help but notice that noone is reading them. Most are involved with their phone in some capacity, whether they are texting, emailing or surfing the web. The need for printed material has really diminished over the years. This is a good thing,  I’m not complaining, but it is just so interesting.

I was at Walmart the other day and went to drop off a desposable camera that I had rediscovered. I was expecting to take advantage of the one hour photo processing. It used to be such a big deal… I guess I never really noticed the change. It was replaced with kiosks that different kinds of media can be fed into it.. so just in case someone actually wants a physical copy they can… there were actually quite a few people doing just that.. feeding the machines so it can print out pictures. Come to find out you can get your pictures developed in case you have a need to develop film. Below is a picture of my younger sister and nephew. It will be interesting to see the different changes the world will go through as he grows up.
