Sometimes a WordPress plugin just isn’t the right fit for what you’re trying to accomplish. There are many reasons for this… 1. Sometimes plugins conflict with other plugins you have installed, causing problems… 2. You can’t find a plugin that does exactly what you need it to do. In my case, it is a combination of both. I show you how to use a script added to functions.php to choose the first image of a post as the featured image.
