It was heart breaking to hear many of the people in the documentary say they gave up dreaming about a better life, they are constantly nervous and worry non stop. Many of them mentioned they were lonely, because they left their families in the south for what they thought would be a better life in Chicago.

A couple of the adults and children were asked if they looked forward to tomorrow, they all said no, they had nothing to look forward to.

God, why must your people suffer?

I don’t have all of the answers to what ails mankind, but I’ll be damned if I ever knowingly contribute to it in some way.
