last kanawha county Kmart in Charleston

I saw in the Charleston gazette where the last Kmart was closing in kanawha county.. I was wondering if it was the one I used to work Coca-Cola in, the Patrick Street location. I did not know, so I looked it up. I didn’t have time to glance at the paper at Walmart as I passed by it. The Patrick Street location closed in January 2018.. so it almost a year ago.

I worked at this Patrick Street Kmart in 2000 merchandising for Coca-Cola. I can’t remember the last time I was there.. I went there a couple of times, because I used to drive my old Coca-Cola route just reminiscing after I had quit and started making good money online. I had zero friends then.. I had a couple of people from work I talked to, but I was pretty lonely during those years, until I met Bob.

I had first gotten my 2000 Honda Civic when I started that job and I was so proud of it. I love that car. I remember going to the car lot over by the Patrick Street Kmart with Bob and Tammie (Tammy) hager one time.. that was probably in 2001-2002. it gives me a really sinking feeling.. missing them.. thinking about those days. my life is not so great right now.
