I love watching videos of issues and problems from the past. This is from a British broadcast called “This Week”

They interviewed families with cars getting only 8 mpg and not having heat in the winter. When they were being interviewed, the ground was covered in snow and it was clearly very cold. Yet they did not have heat.

They were worried about a permanent lack of energy and imminent doomsday. It’s all been sorted out by now…. almost 50 years later. I’d love to know what happened to the families who were interviewed..
