I Just Watched “Park Avenue: Money, Power and the American Dream⎜WHY POVERTY?⎜(Documentary)” on YouTube

This documentary starts off with comparing the wealthy Park Ave with the part across the river, which isn’t as fortunate. The difference is astonishing.

It then goes on to explain the differences as a result of a rigged, unfair economic system. They do this with the game of Monopoly. Players in the traditional game all start out equal… they each have an equal chance of wealth. A group of psychologists did an experiment where the game was rigged… some people had a “head start” in the game, much the same way as in life. After a while, the wealthy players developed a sense of entitlement and that they deserved their privileges… even at the expense of those who were not as fortunate..

I’ve heard of this experiment before and have thought about it a lot over the years. I agree with it 100%.. I just don’t know how to properly fix all the inequalities the citizens of the world face. As long as greed exist, people will suffer.
