Boy George is a really neat guy. I’ve always liked his music but he was never really on my radar.. At least until I saw an old interview he did on Youtube.. He started crying at one point in the interview….
I’ve often wondered if he is s nice person or pretentious and unapproachable. I always thought Sarah Jessica Parker was, based on seeing her engage with her fans on instagram….But then I read a couple of things where she was snappy, rude and often obnoxious.
Everyone has their days, but I still wonder. If I was ever famous or popular, I couldn’t be rude to people’. You just never know who is watching and looking up to you…. I would hate to disappoint someone if I was having a bad day and came off as being rude, cross or standoffish…..
It’s hard for me to watch people be rude to their fellow humans for no reason at all except just being an assholes.
I remember going places with Clyde Grubbs and he would just snap at people…. It was embarrassing and made me feel really bad that someone was the target for his rage, even for a moment. I enjoyed his company for the most part, but I couldn’t deal with his pretentiousness and shitty attitude. I say this because I always looked up to him… But when I got to know him better, I realized he treated a lot of people like garbage… Just had zero empathy.
Anyway this was an interesting interview with Boy George.
