It’s hard to believe River Phoenix has been gone almost 30 years. I didn’t know until watching this the pressure he was put under to help his family. He was also very sensitive and took to drugs to escape.
It always surprises me how people are still able to function when they take drugs. I can completely understand the need to escape… I just don’t understand right now how they continue to work. If i take Benedryl or something similar, I’m pretty much shut down… Maybe that’s the difference… he was taking uppers.
Regardless, it’s so tragic what happened. I looked up his family on Wikipedia, his died died in 2015. It looks as though the rest of his immediate family is still alive.
This came out in 2006 according to the closing credits. It’s amazing how many people were involved in making this… u wonder if they ever made money on it?
It’s crazy that kid can get on YouTube and open toys, making millions… No fancy production or expensive overhead… the highest paid unboxing youtubers make millions…
Anyway, the world just absolutely amazes me sometimes.
