Could you even imagine living through this? They interview several people who were teenagers during the Blitz. I love hearing their stories.
Watching this and seeing how people suffered, makes me ashamed to complain about anything in life.
What was amazing to me was that life went on pretty much as usual during the Blitz. People still worked, went to the movies and lived their lives as best as they could considering their circumstances.
After all it was the British who coined the term “Keep calm and carry on” in preparation for the war… Britain knew they were next after France… and they were right.
