I downloaded the Facebook Viewpoints app and mostly forgot about it until I received an email from them that a project was available.. It happened a couple of weeks after I installed the app.. I got kind of discouraged, because when I first installed it there was nothing available..
The project I’m working on is helping them fine-tune their location data.. I basically checked in several times a day as I move about good. And they Reward Points.. There are 5000 points available.. Which basically equates to a $25 gift card.
I received my first $5 gift card shortly after completing two of three tasks so far.. (I submitted my info too late for one of them)… they say it could take up to 3 days to receive it.. But it only took a few hours, if that. They don’t have a very big selection of vendors where you can use it.. But they do have Amazon and Target.. You also can get a virtual Visa card where you can use anywhere.. Except for a physical location. If you opt for a physical card, they charge a $2 fee.
