I just finished watching this on YouTube. She was 39 when she disappeared… she was declared dead in absentia on Jan 5, 1941. I wonder what she would think of the world today… or even in the 40’s and 50’s… a lot was going on in those decades as well.
Her sister was interviewed (she died in 1998, this documentary was filmed in 1996) and said she talked a lot about not living very long. She no longer has to worry about what ails or world… and hasn’t for a long time.
She also has a website managed by CMG WORLDWIDE, who licenses and manages royalties of deceased celebrities… Very interesting, I wonder who is benefiting from Amelia Earhart’s legacy? Hopefully her family is…
