I finished watching “Audrey Hepburn: Film and Fashion Icon’ a few hours ago… I didn’t realize she died in her 60’s in Jan 1993.. I must have gotten her mixed up with someone else.
I also didn’t realize she was born in Belgium and was a British citizen. Near the end of the documentary, her long term partner, Robert Wolders, was interviewed. He was very good looking….Its so strange when you see people on old shows that you didn’t know existed… It’s almost like you expect them to be frozen in time and still look the same way… I’m not quite sure how to articulate it properly… But anyway, he died in 2018 at 81 years old.
It was 1997 when he was interviewed for this documentary. He was 61 years old and still attractive.
Life is so sad… you can really let all the negative consume you sending you on a downward spiral into severe depression… Something which the documentary claimed Audrey Hepburn suffered from..
