I’ve watched this before, but there were parts that I didn’t see because I must have been distracted the first time I watched it. I love learning about how people lived in generations before us.
They discussed a lot about lighting, which I always found especially interesting… of course society started out with many kinds of candles all the way to gas lighting then electric. When you think about it, in the scheme of things, we haven’t had electrical lighting for all that long.
There are three parts to this series… This one covered the evolving living room…. Very very interesting. I really enjoy the presenter, Lucy Worsley.. She’s a British historian.
