Queen Elizabeth has lived a privileged life, but she also has experienced a lot of tragedy. She is the last person living from the family she was born into.
It was neat to see Queen Mary, the Queen Mother and (at the time) Princess Elizabeth… all in the same video. At one time there were three generations of royalty living..
It was also sad and bothered me a great deal to be reminded of the losses that Queen Elizabeth has endured over her lifetime.
That’s the bad thing about living a long time… not everyone will be able to share the journey with you. I’m not sure I would want to be around watching members of my family pass on one by one. I don’t have the mental aptitude to deal with it.
I enjoyed listening and learning about the two sister’s dynamic. I could rate to a lot of it, minus the royalty, wealth and fame of course.
