The Era of Yahoo Groups is Ending

Remember Yahoo groups? Verizon is blocking users who are trying to archive the site One of them said it’s equivalent to tearing down a historical building. A lot of communities were built around this platform, now they will disappear at the press of a button.
This serves as a reminder how we blindly put big companies in control of the data we feed it… We must make provisions to preserve our data… on all levels.
