SEO and Quora marketing have staying power…. and it’s possible to get results for years to come if done properly.. On the flip side, social media marketing has a very short half life… and users often have short attention spans..
For example, I was searching for something on Google and a news article from 1994 was on the first page of the results… there was also an answer on Quora from 2011.. Think they’re benefiting? Of course they are.
Take away – it’s a good idea (imho) to use a mixture of marketing methods; but always be hyper aware of each one’s strengths and limitations… and test, test and test again….always take notes and study your results… look for patterns… then repeat until you have it right… Never let up. There are no shortages of those who are more than willing to take your share of the organic traffic that’s available..
