Who Invented the Cream Filled Cookie and 10 Myths About Entrepreneurs Debunked

Estimated reading time: 1 minute, 29 seconds

Do you get "stuck" because you think someone has "already thought of that" or "it's already been done"... I used to think the same thing until I learned it's ALL ABOUT THE MARKETING.  It really is that simple.   Who do you think invented the cream filled cookie?  If you thought it was Oreo,  you would be very wrong.  It was actually Hyrox..  have you heard of the brand Hydrox cookies?  I know I have and always thought it was an "off brand".. I'm certain that I'm not alone in this thinking.   Just because something has been done does not mean you can't do it better... perhaps add a feature or simply better marketing...    In this day and age,  anything is possible.  If you are sick of something,  sick of being broke,  sick of being unhappy, sick of anything,  find out how to change it and as Nike says with their brilliant marketing savvy "Just Do It".

My point is,  don't get discouraged because you think "it can't be done",  " someone else has already done it", "their smarter than me"... blah blah blah.  In the end,  they are all excuses.  We live in a world where information is right at our fingertips...  It is possible to get almost instantaneous feedback...  We live in the best era for the creative mind to be alive.     Do you have access to a computer and the internet?   If not,  why not?   Cliche,  but  the world is your oyster,  their is absolutely  no excuse but the excuses you give life to.  As you can tell,  I despise excuses with every ounce of my being.  Below is a post from Forbes Magazine I thought was very interesting titled "Ten Myths About Entrepreneurs Debunked"  I thought  it was quite interesting....  Enjoy.
