I Just Watched “SUBWAY – Life in America” on YouTube

This was very interesting and informative. I had no idea the origins of the Subway sandwich brand. I also did not realize they had been around since the 70s and was started by a seventeen-year-old who was financed by an investor who was helping him attend college..

For some reason, Subway is not doing as well as they used to be. They close one and a local Walmart that I frequent.. If Subway can’t make it in Walmart, I would be afraid to open one anywhere..

I’m not sure if it’s still true or not, but Subway was one of the cheapest franchises to open when they first offered them.. They required $200,000 in operating Capital whereas McDonald’s required 1 million..

The restaurant business is a Fickle business, I will gladly stick to my digital Enterprises…
