#kauai is one of my favorite islands…. Maybe it’s the rain…. Maybe it’s the mild temperatures…. maybe it’s the laid back attitude and concern for the environment almost everyone seems to have… Maybe bc it’s so far from homebase…. I really dunno, I just always loved the energy there.
Since travel is pretty much out of the question right now, I often go to my favorite places in my mind…. along with the help of weather.com, Google Earth and Airtable.
It’s nuts but I never really had any trouble daydreaming and creating perfect little worlds that only exist in my head….. and that’s usually where they stay…. at least until I decide to write about some of them….Then they come alive…. Why? Because then others start thinking of them as well….
