I did not realize that the royal family did not pay taxes, specifically inheritance taxes.
The Royals have been under constant threat of losing their royal status, with calls over the years to dismantle the monarchy. But they never seem to be bothered by it… In typical British fashion… they “remain calm and carry on” Who knows what they worry about in private though.. they don’t typically show emotion in public.
I’m going to figure out eventually what holds the monarchy in place and how vulnerable they really are to it being dissolved..
